Shopify post-checkout audit + migration Non-Plus deadline
26 AUG 2026 Official Shopify upgrade date
For one standard-scope non-Plus store. B2B only; not offered to consumers. Audit: map legacy purchase sources and duplicate risks; return a test plan and fixed implementation quote. Implementation: separate; starts only after the written quote and scope are accepted, first payment is received, and Viewsnorth confirms complete access and information in writing.

The deadline
Shopify can automatically upgrade remaining non-Plus stores after 26 August 2026. Legacy code does not automatically become a supported implementation.
A legacy purchase source stops firing when the old page is replaced.
An app pixel and a replacement tag both record the same order.
The purchase arrives without reliable value, currency, or transaction ID.
The new page looks fine, but the destinations that drive reporting were never checked.
Two separate stages
The £250 net audit ends with a written plan and fixed quote. Migration, one controlled test order, and the evidence handoff happen only under a separately accepted implementation scope.
Scripts, pixels, apps, owners, consent dependencies, and destinations mapped before changes.
Replace, retain, remove, update, or test—one explicit decision and risk rank per source.
Implementation-access list, test conditions, scope, timing, and fixed price stated in writing.
Only approved replacements are installed; known legacy duplicates are retired in an agreed order.
One agreed order is checked for observed value, currency, identifier, destination receipt, and duplicates.
Pre-change record, final map, observed evidence, and reversal notes only where the platform permits reversal.
Synthetic verification protocol
This deterministic walkthrough illustrates the fields recorded after implementation; it does not inspect a live store. It is not a client result and does not prove every future order, consent state, payment method, attribution model, or platform report.
One agreed order, consent state, payment path, and test time. Platform delays and diagnostic limits are recorded rather than assumed.
Process
The first message needs no access. Restricted collaborator permissions are requested only after fit, payment, and scope are confirmed.
Least-privilege access only. Account invitations, never passwords. Temporary access can be removed after handoff.
Share the store URL, Shopify upgrade-report status, and destinations that matter. No access yet.
After fit and payment, the current setup is inventoried and every source gets a migration decision.
The audit returns a risk-ranked plan and fixed implementation quote before any change is made.
After the written implementation quote and scope are accepted, the required first payment is received, and Viewsnorth confirms in writing that the required implementation access and information are complete, agreed replacements go in, legacy sources come out in sequence, and one controlled order is documented.
Exact boundary
The £250 net standard scope means one non-Plus store, legacy Thank you or Order status purchase sources or directly related post-checkout blocks, no server-side or historical-data repair, and the minimum access needed to inspect the mapped setup. The free fit check confirms this before payment. Anything outside that boundary requires a different written scope. Some compatible setups need no paid audit, and the fit check says so when that is clear.
One standard-scope non-Plus Shopify store
Additional scripts, app/custom pixels, hardcoded Thank you links, and source ownership
App compatibility, customer-account domain alignment, the merchant’s documented consent-gating instructions, and duplicate-source checks
One decision per source, risk rank, test plan, and fixed implementation quote
After the written implementation quote and scope are accepted, the required first payment is received, and required access and information are confirmed complete in writing: approved changes, one controlled order, and an evidence handoff
Identical numbers across advertising platforms
Advertising results, media buying, theme redesign, CRO, or email-flow strategy
Legal consent review or changes to the merchant’s consent policy
Server-side tracking, historical data repair, unrelated development, or ongoing monitoring unless separately scoped
Third-party fees, platform changes, or changes introduced by other parties after handoff
For agencies
White-label evidence, client-contact rules, confidentiality, permissions, and portfolio scheduling can be written into an agency scope. No non-solicitation or white-label obligation is created by this website alone. Start with one store.

The audit is the paid diagnosis. If implementation is justified, its full scope and price are fixed before the store changes.

FAQ
No inflated guarantees. No open-ended hourly work.
One non-Plus store with legacy Thank you or Order status purchase sources or directly related post-checkout blocks, no server-side or historical-data repair, and the minimum access needed to inspect the mapped setup. Multi-store, Plus, and excluded work require a different written scope. The free fit check confirms eligibility before payment.
No. Some stores have simple, compatible configurations. The audit determines whether specialist migration is justified and says so plainly when it is not.
A current-state inventory, one decision and risk rank for every mapped source, a test plan, an implementation-access list, and a fixed implementation quote. Migration and verification are not included. The £250 net audit fee is credited against the implementation price before VAT when the written quote is accepted within seven calendar days after it is sent.
For the audit: minimum read access to the upgrade report and implicated Shopify or source settings, requested only after fit and payment. The audit then lists the separate destination and change permissions needed for implementation; those are not requested unless the implementation scope is accepted.
No. Platforms attribute, deduplicate, and model events differently. The service verifies the agreed configuration and observed test evidence, not report parity or advertising results.
It can be retained and verified. Migration does not mean replacing everything; each source is classified as replace, retain, remove, update, or test.
No. Start with the store URL, upgrade-report status, and destinations that must receive purchase events. A call is only suggested if the scope cannot be settled clearly in writing.
Standard implementations are typically delivered in two to four business days after the written implementation quote and scope are accepted, the required first payment is received, and the operator confirms in writing that all required implementation access and information are complete; the written quote controls.
Written handoff occurs when the evidence packet and final configuration map are delivered after completion. For 14 calendar days from that handoff, Viewsnorth corrects at no additional service charge defects introduced by its implementation. This additional correction promise does not limit any applicable statutory rights or any rights or remedies stated in the accepted written scope. Third-party platform changes, changes made by other parties after handoff, and items expressly documented as excluded, unresolved, or assumed are not covered by the additional promise.
No. Reversal depends on Shopify eligibility and timing; some legacy scripts cannot be restored after the platform upgrade or deadline. The implementation records contingencies only for changes the platform actually allows to be reversed.
